Genegra is usually well tolerated.

Known cases of side effects are rare, only 2% of patients: headache (16%), flush (10%), digestive upset (7%), rhinedema (4%), visual impairment (3%), diarrhea (3%), dizziness (2%), skin rash (2%).

Other reactions (2%) were respiratory tract infections, back pain, flue and arthralgia syndrome.

In researches with flexible dosage, digestive upsets (17%) were more frequently observed at dosage of 100 mg, than lower dosages.

At doses which exceed recommended dosage, side effects were similar to the mentioned above, but were more frequent.

Prolonged erection, over 4 hours and priapism (painful erection over 6 hours) are rare side effects for Genegra.

Genegra Precautions

Genegra is contraindicated for the patients that take any preparations containing nitrates in any form and for patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
